Our client (a well-regarded Tier 2 civil contractor) is seeking a Civil Project Engineer / Site Engineer to join their growing team on the Central Coast.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a “doer” mindset who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys working across project delivery, and is also confident supporting quoting, tenders and lead generation.

Projects include:
Small carparks, subdivisions and civil packages
Defence works
Split of the role:
70% project delivery
30% tenders / quoting / opportunity chasing
Key Responsibilities
Support end-to-end delivery of civil projects (award to completion)
Engineering support to site teams (scope, drawings, methodology, problem-solving)
Coordination of subcontractors, materials, sequencing and schedules
QA documentation including ITPs, checklists, inspections, handovers
Assist with procurement, cost tracking, variations and reporting
Build relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers
Assist with quoting, pricing, tender/EOI submissions and follow-up of supplier quotes
Promote WHS compliance and strong safety culture
What We’re Looking For
Civil Engineering degree (or equivalent)
2–5 years experience in civil construction (Tier 2 ideal)
Strong civil understanding: earthworks, drainage, roads, services, pavements
Solid QA / documentation capability
Organised, proactive, able to manage competing deadlines
Confident communicator (site teams + client-facing)
White Card + Drivers Licence
Highly Regarded
Subdivisions / local council works / utilities experience
Exposure to estimating, quoting, variations
Systems: MS Project, Excel, Bluebeam, Procore/Aconex/HammerTech
